I've got a tub in my fridge.

I made a lovely braising steak casserole yesterday with veg in gravy.
There was loads of gravy left over so I put it into the fridge for today. It's got carrots, onions, mushrooms, lentils in there.
But I've got no meat out today to have with it.
Should I just heat and eat like a soup with bread, or keep it till tomorrow and have with mash?
I've got some nice burgers or some very small rump steak pieces?

I would blitz it a bit and have it as a very tasty soup with bread. It should taste lush.
Felines are my favourite

All of those sound nice, but soup and bread is one of my favourite things so I'd do that.Old-Style Enthusiast :j0

I did that, it was lovely.
And there's still enough to have for a meal tomorrow with meat and mash - the never-ending tub of tastefulness

I always keep leftover gravy in the fridge and use it to add to the next batch of gravy I make - the good thing is it improves the taste and texture. The bad thing is that you can never recreate exactly the same recipe as the leftovers from each batch go into the next batch and so on....!One life - your life - live it!0

Another vote here for just eating it as soup, either blended a bit or just left chunky. It's what I did when I somehow did too much veg in a chicken casserole and ended up with two portions from it that were just veg and gravy/sauce with no chicken bit to go with them. They were perfectly delicious eaten as chunky soup for lunch.
You could also do it with mash and maybe a bit of green veg on the side for your dinner. Doesn't need any more meat done to put in it, it's made from meat!0 -
Why didn't I think of that lol, we can have it tomorrow night.
The bowl I had with bread was very filling, and meaty flavoured
