Flat women's shoes that last longer than a month!

Hi
I've had trouble finding good quality shoes that don't fall apart or wear through after a month or so. I do quite a lot of walking so it's partly due to that, but every pair I pick just falls apart so quickly! Lately I've been buying the Primark flat pointed shoes that are £4 or so but they stretch out of shape after a few weeks.
They need to be comfy and simple, just plain black ballerina would do. Does anybody have any recommendations? They don't need to be particularly cheap as long as they will last...
Thank you

Sorry meant to say I have tried Office and Schuh as well with no luck! If my shoes are going to be falling apart I'd rather it be £4 ones, not the £45 ones ...0

Have you tried Crocs? I'm just looking to replace mine after 2 years of almost daily wear.

I tend to look at the soles with shoes - if the soles are thin and flat, they won't last, but a bit of a sole is better. Have you tried Clarks?0

Matalan currently have black ballet type shoes in for £6 - no idea how long they'll last, or if they're better than Primark but might be worth a look.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

I got a couple of pairs of leather flat ballet pumps from here when they were on sale for £10. They're really comfortable, and seem to have held up to being in almost daily use for months.

I have had similar problems with shoes, and have made some massive mistakes with shoes that look good but kill my feet or look grubby after a couple of wears. You really can't beat Clarks in my opinion. Expect to pay a little extra - I bought some lovely ballerina pumps a couple of weeks ago for around £35 - but they last and last and last. The good thing with their pumps is that the sole is still very durable in spite of appearing thinner than their other range. I have just sold all my other shoes at the car boot sale and bought some Clarks!0
