I've seen 2 decent deals for TV DVD combi's. Both models are 22-inch LCD TVs, widescreen and HD ready and come with a built in freeview tuner (and ofcourse a dvd player):
Toshiba 22DV713B best price: [STRIKE]£199.99[/STRIKE] £208.05 via Amazon (looks like they recently updated the price).
Samsung LE22B470 best price: £227.70 via Amazon | Dixons
Both look nice, the Toshiba model has ambient backlighting, but personally we've always ended up with Samsung models and they seem to be more popular. The price difference is minimal between the two so you can have a look and see which sticks out more for you.
If you want to shave off a few quid and want only the cheapest solution, you could get something like a Goodmans 22 inch tv for about £160 and then buy a separate cheapy dvd player for about another £20-30. However, you might prefer getting a better brand of TV like the Toshiba and Samsung and having a built in dvd player might be more compact and efficient, plus you have the built in freeview tuner which gives you about 40 odd free channels.Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark.
