Short-change at Somerfield

Hope this is the right way to announce this.

Recently 'spent' the two free Bounty paper towels voucher (had three vouchers - thank you, Andrea), at Somerfield and was astonished on returning home to see my store receipt showed that I had been charged £1.55 per twin pack and credited £1.49 per voucher leaving me with a debit of 18p total. I'm going back later today to have a whinge. The vouchers definitley said "2 free..." Moral: keep and check your receipts! Otherwise known as: Watch the b

That happened to me too. I used my voucher in the local Co-Op but as the voucher had a limit of 1.49 and the co-op charges 1.69 I was left to pay the 20p! Still it was a bargain but it shows how the Co-op is overcharging and by the sound of it so is Sommerfield!

I got mine in Tescos and they had the fat ones at half price (last month) and they paid me 20p per roll (had 2 vouchers). And getting the £2.50 rolls for Free.

I used mine as payment towards some completely different shopping at Tesco (for newbies, you don't have to buy the item if you shop at a friendly Tesco, Asda or Waitrose, search 'coupons' for Chat threads on this).

i think the voucher was worth £1.49 ( last three digits minus last is the value)

You should have bought them at ASDA !!

They are currently selling these for just £1

You get one for free AND 49p off the rest of your bill !!!!

With 3 you'd have got £1.47 off !!!!

Its to the value so they should only knock off £1.

I used mine in asda, bounty is on offer for £1 for 2 rolls and they took £1.49 off at the till! Result!
