Sorry you didn't get on well last night Jo ans Randomname. Start again today with a clean slate

Jo, I know it is no consolation but
my kids bicker and drive me nuts seemingly constantly. We've had 6 weeks of holidays so far and I'm having to pack up to move house so I'm at my wits end. Thank goodness two of them are off to granny's next week!
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Afternoon all!

    How are we all today?

SSG - glad to hear you sounding more positive.

Its a lovely day here so am taking piglet to a park this afternoon before going to my Mums to drop him off.

Other than that I have to trawl the internet looking up nursery / primary school Apprenticeships. My Step-daughter has now left school but still hasn't sorted out a placement for September. I think she's left it too late so we've told her she may have to consider actually getting a job (shock horror - her face was a picture!:rotfl:). So i'm going to see what I can find and e-mail her with some info. Not that she'll take a blind bit of notice !:rotfl:

Still haven't been able to do anything, so far they've argued over a chair, what to watch on the TV, which cup they want to use, what to have for lunch and what toys they want to take on holiday next week *sigh*

You can but try Miss P.......

Feeling better today, but a bit skint to say the least....

Nothing insortable though thank goodness, but it's going to be tight here for a few months..

Waiting for the washing machine to hurry up and finish as I have my uniform in it which needs to be worn in an hour and a bit.....

Feeling more positive today, will be good to get back into the routine of work, back shift tonight, not off till the weekend, and i won't be drinking thats for sure!

Hope everyone has a good day!!!

  • I've just got back from taking Mrs RN to hospital for her second cateract op. The one she had 2 weeks ago has been a great success. As she will need a bit of care this evening I will definitely be fully compos mentis!

She will be able to get a temporary pair of specs in a couple of weeks so terror will return to the roads.

Talking of the roads I think I was 'flashed' by a speed camera yesterday.:mad::mad: Will have to wait and see what postie brings.

Hope you get your pc fixed Jo.

Gien thanks for the encouragement, I will try to stay with you 'til midnight Wednesday.

  • Jo, what will you do if you can't get your pc sorted?

RN glad all went well for your wife....

I am off to work now, working till midnight so decaring

    6 please

I am a bit panicked about various financial issues, but there's nothing I can do right now so I am going to try not to worry. Hopefully it will be busy at my work tonight to help take my mind off things.

Hope everyone has a good day,

    SSG

Well I have a clean sink, that's about it. But if you are into Flying, then you'll know that it all starts with a clean sink :D

  • I've just collected OH, she is sporting a white pad over her eye. It comes off tomorrow then its drops 4 times a day.

It's now half way through my high risk time and I must remain on my best behaviour for at least the next couple of days.

I hope Sim is just in bed or whatever.

    Good luck SSG
