I'd like to sign up to 10 NSDs in August please!

I've not been on MSE/DFW for a while as I'd got fed up with the whole 'being in debt' thing ... but want to get back into being positive again!

    THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a question. We will be away for three week starting on Tuesday (August 3) and although we are going to our apartment in Sofia this is still going to be a holiday. How do you cope with NSDs during holiday?

As you have an apartment you probably have a kitchen, so that means you can pack lunches and cook at home and things. So I'd say make a packed lunch and do some sight seeing, or picnicking for th day and have a bottle of wine at home in the evening. I'm sure there must be at least 3 things worth doing that are free in Sofia, so that's 3 NSD's as long as you go to the market/ supermarket/ petrol station the day before.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

slop slop slop, drip drip drip its me I'm back, with beautiful new webbed feet and a lovely new cagoule and a lot of wet washing.........

the Dopeys did camping and it rained and rained and rained, we kept moving on and the clouds just followed us until we got over the east of the country, where it dried up!
had a lovely time just chilling though, wet but chilled iyswim.
found some lovely wee quiet pubs looking out to sea, very calming and good for just staring into the distance............

didn't manage one NSD but can you put me down for 15 this month as have to save up again for another couple of camping days.
    thank you Spoon

off to catch up on what madness I've missed

    Hi Dopey:hello:

Lovely to have you back, we missed you.

Glad you had a lovely relaxing (if a bit damp) time, you'll soon dry out again now. You must have got the camping bug though if you're going again.:D:D

First NSD today - good start!!! am going to try and exceed my goal this month ..................
  • :dance:Here again!

Going to go for 15 NSDs this month again.......and that includes EVERY penny I spend.

No NSD today as DS2 went to a party at an indoor play centre and DS1 wanted to go to  ( to paying for it, not to DS1 wanting to go!) Actually, yes, it was  for DS1 wanting to go, but he stayed out of the way when we got there and behaved himself which actually makes him an :A. Sorry, was typing quicker than my brain was working, think I still am..........

No NSD tomorrow either as dds coming out of bank and I have to get karate money out for the month. Don't think I need anything else but will check before I go out.......

Errrrr, BabyJayne, just checked your sig..........we haven't got round to mentioning the 'c' word yet............ you have been warned..........just in case BigMummaF notices it

Wee Pilsbury - like your Doctor Who quote. You'll fit in nicely :D. Lots of the virtual trips on here wouldn't be possible without the help of the Tardis.

And talking of virtual trips. Weekends are my busiest times so I won't be able to make them. Any chance of a weekday soiree?
Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!
