Hi Carlislelass,
I know when I was going through Uni I was able to get some books from ebay etc and Amazon at a fraction of the new price, so you should be able to list there, although you may be a bit early as the students don't start back until September. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Amazon is the best place or a second hand bookshop may buy them off you. If you go to a second hand book shop i'd suggest going to one in a uni town that offers the same course as you study as you might get more for them because they will sell easily. My experience with ebay hasn't been very good with selling books, it's been largely unsuccessful for me as the few i've tried to sell have been very specialised and you have to bank on someone wanting that specific book searching for it within the few days of your listing. Amazon lists books for longer and i think more people use it to look for academic books. Don't expect to make much money on them especially if they are books that are frequently reissued in a new edition, i've got a few which i'd happily sell on but new students want the latest edition. you might be lucky if they are rarer books, i have a few which i was lucky to get my hands on while at uni and could probably sell for a bit, but i don't want to sell them.0
