cant remember what i said, but i prob just shook her hand and thanked her for seeing me, it really wasnt a big deal as there not there to be hard on you just to be fair, it was very informal, if your genuine and its clear you are suffering here then they will see that and do what they can to help you..
you could reduce your dmp but the other creditiors might not except it but the odd month being a bit short is not going to be the end of the world, if your CCJ payment is set higher than your dmp has allowed for then and you cant afford it then the dmp would have to be reviewed and adjusted to suit, my CCJ is for 27k and is set at £233 a month (what i asked for) although i pay £250..0 -
The only bit in this I don't understand is, how did the DCA get the CCJ , before redetermination to be set at ten times the rate I could afford?
I sent in my income and expenditure , I sent a copy to the DCA which clearly shows how the DMP works and what I could realistically afford.
How did we even get to a stage where they have got processing centre to issue a CCJ for an amount I can obviously not afford to pay without me and the family starving or freezing to death in winter?
Do the DCA's pass the information on to the bulk processing centres which issue CCJ's. Do they have a legal obligation to do so- if they don't aren't they wasting everyone's time if they don't ?
They charge a load of cash for doing this which gets added to the amount they claim you owe.
The only reason they do this is to get you to default so they can get a court to slap a CO on you.
Something fishy here.0
