I've no idea whats its called, I have only a vision of what I mean, but one of those things on wheels which helps you to to remove washing machines, cookers etc.

it's called a dolly or a 'sack' truck
just google around and you'll find them. i guess it depends on what you want to move - shape and size...
but all the diy shops will have them

how far are you going to be moving it, it's a lot to spend for a one off job, especially if only a short distance.0 -
Depending on whether you have a way of picking it up or not, one of these might be useful - you can get them in Makro for about £10 - £15, I currently use one for transporting my shopping from Mr T's (I don't drive), they seem pretty strong.
