I've no idea whats its called, I have only a vision of what I mean, but one of those things on wheels which helps you to to remove washing machines, cookers etc.

it's called a dolly or a 'sack' truck
just google around and you'll find them. i guess it depends on what you want to move - shape and size...
but all the diy shops will have them

p.s. there are also wheels made for putting under washing machines permanently

how far are you going to be moving it, it's a lot to spend for a one off job, especially if only a short distance.

Depending on whether you have a way of picking it up or not, one of these might be useful - you can get them in Makro for about £10 - £15, I currently use one for transporting my shopping from Mr T's (I don't drive), they seem pretty strong.
