Kikkoman soy sauce

I used to love this but have not been able to find any in the shops for over a year. Does anyone know what has happened to it?

Have you checked Asda? i got my last bottle from there & i'm sure it was less than a year ago although i have had other brands since but that is because it is not in my local shops only the Asda in town.
  • Hiya, Check the Asian greengrocer shops. I get 1 litre bottles in Brighton for £5.99. We also noticed it had virtually disappeared from the Asda and Tesco and found it purely by chance when we went into the greengrocer for fresh fruit.

    Also online, http://www.sushisushi.co.uk/store/index.php?app=gbu0&ns=prodshow&ref=Usukuchi-1000
and if you google 1 litre kikkoman you'll get a lot of hits on it.

    HTH.

kikkoman had a falling out with the supermarkets, because they were getting a really bad deal out of it, so you'll probably have to look for it in your local Chinese supermarket. Loads online too, if you search kikkoman soy sauce on google and look at the shopping tab - you can get 1 litre for £4.95.

Both Kikkoman soy sauce and Teriyaki sauce were discontinued by the supermarkets a year or so ago, but have filtered back into Sainsbury's and Tesco (at least my local ones) so you might like to have a look in there if you can't get to an Asian grocer's.

    It's only a game
