Sorry if this is posted I the wrong place - I wasn't sure where to post it!
Basically, I've just stumbled across a site called Dealoftheday.com and although it's not as easy to navigate, the forum part seems to be the American version of MSE.
The website address is http://forums.dealofday.com/ and as the price of the dollar is so low at the moment, there could be some great deals to be found by using that site!
