It seems like a perfectly logical plan to me. I know BR seems scary but we have all been there and are still surviving. I went BR 3 years ago and because I had read everything on this forum for about a year leading up to BR I was well prepared and knew what would happen every step of the way - knowledge is power! Most people come back from the court saying "is that it? It wasn't scary at all". You are taking control of the situation - best wishes!!Speak to CAB/national debt line on Monday (Don’t Pay mortgage/secured debts as it will be used for rent and bond)
Speak to employer and ensure no complications will arise
Find a house (rental) and move in
Send keys back to mortgage provider (And ensure I do not sign any agreement for the shortfall)
Petition court for bankruptcy order
Does this seem like the right path, am totally kacking myself
