Hi

I was wondering do CCJs disappear completing off your credit file after 6 years? Even if unsatisfied.

I have some from 2005 that I am paying off and will be satisfied before they "drop off"

    A CCJ over 6 years old is not visible on your credit file. i.e. They do drop off.

    Been satisfied or unsatisfied makes no difference, the 6 year date is 6 years from the date of the initial hearing.

    If you satisfy a CCJ, you can ask for a certificate of satisfaction from the court, which you can send to the credit report agencies to mark it as satisfied.
    Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

    I have a max of 4 years for them all to drop off :) + they will be cleared by then aswell cool
