So chaps wheres the cheapest new nano - also all the refurbished stuff seems to have disappered of the apple site!?

I bought a 2gb nano for the £83 off Apple Refurb on Friday and it arrived on monday.

Just had a look at the apple website and I see what you mean about the refurb stuff having disappeared. It might just be a temporary glitch though - may be worth contacting Apple?

They're the cheapest ones I found with a 1 year guarentee (but have to admit I didn't look for any cashback etc deals which may have made it cheaper).

Did you just get the nano + headphones? was it in as-new conidition? .... just seen the new nano (annouced yesterday) 8GB for £169 but not 100% convinced by the styling.

Nano, headphones, USB power cable, software and docs. Didn't even get the fancy apple packaging! It seems nothing but perfect so far.

I didn't even realise they were bringing out new styles (i have the black old style then). Maybe that's why they've done things with the refurb section. From what I can see on the apple site the new nanos look like a smaller version of the minis with the rounded edges etc.

The mildly annoying part of the nano have the metallic back is that it constantly looks smudged because of fingerprints etc and I find myself cleaning it alot! Maybe the new ones don't have that.

I may just be forgetful but has the price of the 2gb come down (it's now £99)? I thought i'd saved more money than that by going refurb!

Looks like my great deal is slightly less great with the reduced price on the new 2gbs but i'm still happy with the 'little-er' saving!

yea - dont think the refurbs represent great value for money now, there still good - but I would expect the price to drop a bit given that they are model old now..
