Boden autumn preview - has anyone else received their orders yet?

Just wondering if anyone else ordered from the Boden preview site weeks back when they were offering 20% off?
I did, ordered absolutely masses (like £800+ worth) on the basis that most of it wouldn't fit, I certainly wouldn't like it all and would possible keep one or two things.
Well, it arrived yesterday, 2 massive boxes and guess what? Yup - there isn't much that doesn't fit or I don't like
Now I'm looking at it all thinking how I can whittle it down to a sensible amount - what possessed me, I should have known better.
I'd feel much happier though if I knew there were some other nutters out there in the same position though

I got my order a couple of days ago, its all kids clothes about £400 worth, had a quick peep. I didnt order myself anything at the preview as i hadnt lost all the baby weight when i placed the order but i have a growing list of things i want and as soon as i see a good discount code shall order. I justify buying boden because i washes and wears well so can be passed down and/or re-sold for a decent price on ebay. Also the service is very good.
If you love it then keep it and feel fabulous every time you wear it. I love the handbags and the canvas/plimsole type shoes.0 -
well I've now modelled it all in front of my mother (the world's most honest fashion critic) and she has pointed out how enormous my behind was in one dress and how the Saint Germain jacket made me look like an oompa loompa (her words not mine) so I've managed to cut it down slightly - my only remaining challenge is whether to keep the chic wool coat in the fab grape/purple colour or to change it for ever more practical black or navy.
Ah well I can't get to the post office until next weekend so the decision can wait:DNO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
I'm with you - ordered a similar amount split between myself, and the two kids and had also been hoping to loathe a few items. Sadly, just one going back - which won't help the bank balance! Just feeling good that at least I got 20% off - pre MSE I'd have just paid full price.0

Excuse me butting in to your thread: When you say 20% off is that the reduction that Boden often advertise (in with your catalogue or in an email and often with free postage and returns)? or is there some other way you can get money off Boden?
Oh and while I'm asking, what are your favourites?:o0 -
about 6/8 weeks back Boden had a preview website where you could order from the Autumn/Winter range at 20% off. They only mail it to selected customers but some lovely MSE'rs posted the link on the Grabbit forum so we could all use it:D (apparently they do this before each new season so watch out for the next lot!)
The only catch was you didn't get the goods until last week (although your cc wasn't charged until then)
My favourites from what I received are
the fun skirt
the chic wool coat (although I don't know if purple is practical - should I be sensible and exchange it for black?)
my lovely soft boucle cardigan (the yellow looks amazing with the fun skirt)
and surprisingly this top which looks amazing with plain navy trousers and a patent belt
It's disappointing though that you can no longer post reviews of each article on the Boden website - I liked to know what others thought of items however customer services say they no longer accept reviews - pity.NO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
I love the coat and the colour, very expensive though. Like the style of the top but not the pattern, i dont do patterns.0

Don't worry - the boden reviews will be back next week - they're having a few issues with their new season website.
Red magazine have a 15% code right now for Boden - and you can get cashback too.0 -
Hi - do you have the code details from Red Magazine?
Is the cashback through quidco?:)0 -
Code from Red magazine was LNAR and the cashback is through topcashback. It varies slightly, but usually between 5 and 6%.
Hope that helps.0
