loan advice please
my wife applied for a loan(£7500) with the halifax, as she banks with them i thought she would be offered 9%apr , but they could only offer her a loan at 29%apr !!!, this was due to her not having a good credit score , i have done a creditcheck online and she has never missed a payment for anything . i have 2 questions
1. she is not on the electoral roll as yet , she has applied and is waiting for confirmation when she will added to it
2. im 3 years in to my iva and maybe this is effecting her chances of getting the loan at 9%apr , im her husband by the way
any advice will be welcome

Do you have any joint financial products? i.e. a mortgage or joint bank account?
If so, your credit report and payment history will impact your wife.0 -
1. Couple of Months tops should see an appearance on the electoral register.
2. If you are financially linked absolutely it will have an effect.
From the info so far, there is almost no chance of a 9% apr, that is only for the squeakiest of all the clean.
There is a multitude of other factors which will prevent getting 9%.0 -
no joint accounts etc , i guess her being linked to my address and not being on the electoral roll are big factors in this casethankyou0
