advice of a few things on my credit file

looking at my credit file theres two things that are a bit odd..
First of i have a CCJ to Natwest for 27k that is still being paid off, on my Experian report its gives the 27k balance but has satisfied next to it!!
Second is also Natwest, this is a default from a current account dating back to 1994, theres a default on it in 2008 for 5k, now i found this a few months back on a past report but the issue is i have no connection that i no off to the account number, i called Natwest a few months back and asked about it, they also said they cant find any connection to me on that account and that they arent chasing me for the money, how ever the balance continues to rise, they asked me to wright in and send a copy of my report but i never did, but its still showing on my file and still going up..
So not sure how to play this, first off theres no payments from me to them on that account and no letters etc chasing me for it, the only dealings ive had with Natwest in the last 10yrs is for the CCJ from a loan and overdraft on my account so im guessing what ever it is is stature barred? like i said i have no idea what it is anyway but not sure if i should get involved in finding out in case i open a can of worms..
any advice is welcomed
