8 Digit Customer ID showing on Santander Statement following migration!!

....have mentioned this in another post re the migration, but thought it might be lost on some, so posting here too.
After noticing that my 8 digit Customer ID for telephone/internet banking now appears on the Santander statement for my migrated Current Account, I wondered should I be concerned (given that for access, anyone would still need my secure PIN number and security question/s). That said, A&L always said it was important to keep the Customer ID safe too:
A & L's website's Legal section re security still states:
"6.1.1.3 Keep the Security Details and Your Customer ID secret and take reasonable steps to prevent anyone else finding out the Security Details or Your Customer ID"
and
"6.1.1.8 Keep any record of Your Customer ID in a safe place at all times"
