    Just picked one of these in Makro, thanks to the OP. Was a bit concerned as in-store it said 5 year guarantee but in the box it said 2 years and £64 to extend to 5 years. Well chuffed when I looked on the Dyson website and found that items purchased after 27 July 06 have a 5 year guarantee!!!

  • As far as I know, you need to be either self employed or run your own business to get a card. You need to take proof of your status in when applying for a card. I'm not sure that they do day cards.
    you need to take two or three letterheads to prove you own a business.failing that if you have a friend who is self employed they could say you do their buying and get a card in your name.

    I was about to say the same thing! They have got to be the worst hoover on the market! mine needed a new motor in the first week, and literally had every part break on it, got totally fed up with their customer service, so chucked it in the skip after about 6 months and bought myself a 'Henry'
