DD's old wardrobe which has been cluttering up my living room is being collected tonight by WLM and his mate in their work's van :j I can't bear living in mess like thie this - still it's a good excuse not to do any housework ;)

He is going to come food shopping with me afterwards. It will feel odd. I can't remember the last time I went food shopping with a man! I hope he doesn't cost me too much money. I can be far more MSE when I'm on my own.

DD's carpet is coming Monday! Can't wait. I have booked the day off. I hope the carpet fitters come early so i can give the house a good going over afterwards. Once that's down I can arrange to have her new furniture delivered by my friend.

Only £1.90 on One Poll. I am not meeting my targets but it isn't through lack of trying.....

    Have a good weekend :)

A rather relaxing today for us compared to all the decorating last week. DD's wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table have been collected and I have got £40 for them. That will pay for the carpet fitters on Monday. So there are now more bags of clothes in my room .

I cleared out her dressing up drawer and I will sort out all the stuff that no longer fits her and give it to the nursery she went to. Or I might Ebay the good stuff - needs must :o There is also about a dozen wands and loads of fairy wings....

Got to pop to the library today then going going round my sister's to borrow a top to wear to lunch with WLM's family tomorrow - yes I am actually going to meet them . I really need more clothes. I am either far too smart in work stuff or far too scruffy in jeans. I just don't do the happy medium :o. My sis has loads of nice clothes so if I can borrow a reasonably smart top and wear with my jeans and some boots that should do. Very :money:

Later on today we are going to the cinema thing at the church to watch Despicable Me. It's all free and if we walk into town I won't need to worry about parking. A NSD for a change!

Good luck with meeting the family, I'm sure they'll love you, just turn on the charm :p Will be back to see how you got on :) You got any dresses? I prefer them to tops because less outfit co-ordination is required. Fabulous clothes can be got quite cheaply although it does require time to search sale rails, browse ebay, etc.

We had a lovely time. His Mum is lovely, as was his aunt and 90 year old nan, bless. DD turned on the charm as always so that was a huge help. I'm afraid I go all quiet when faced with so many new people at once (especially when it's something that really matters to me). I met up with WLM's brother who was in my class at school. Not seen him for 20 years!! Makes me feel old all of a sudden...

I have got some dresses that look really nice on but they are a little bit short for a first meeting with the family. Maybe next time....

Am off today, waiting for the carpet fitters to turn up :)

Nice to come home from the school run and put the kettle on and watch The Wright Stuff :)

Carpet's down and it looks lovely. I have taken the offcuts and the old rug to the tip. I love going to the tip :D

I've just sorted out DD's underwear and thrown out all the too small knickers. She has so much stuff still! I did discover that she has about 6 sun hats and 5 swimming cossies so she'll be sorted for our holiday.

£2.85 on OnePoll. My target was to get to £3 today and hopefully I'll still do it.

Not a NSD today. I had to pay the carpet fitter £36, then after I went to the tip I popped to Sainsbugs and bought some Yakult, the value tea-bags (27p, very MSE and lovely and strong too) and a red nose for DD. I also got them to round up the bill for Red Nose Day (30p) so £4 spent in all and I have just realised that I went in there to get black sacks too as I have run out and completely forgot to get them :o. I will pop in with DD when I've picked her up from the after school club. Actually I will probably go to M*rr**ons as it's cheaper.

Lots of nice things happening today moneywise:-

A lady from the CSA rang me and there is a very slight chance that I could get some money next week :) They have heard from ex's employer that they have taken 'a large amount of money' from his pay and should be sending it in this week.

I hope their idea of 'a large amount of money' is the same as mine :D

    Claimed another £5 from MySurvey.

Earned £1.25 from Onepoll today - they have been very generous - £4.10 now :)

Onepoll has been very mean today - I have had just one 15p survey :(

Good news is that the woman from the CSA rang me and told me the arrears figure that will be sent to me next week and also what the new weekly amount is.:j

It is quite a large amount (the arrears figure) and as I have been scrimping for so long I am worried about what is going to happen when I do get it. I have rather a strange relationship with money - when I have none I can find loads of things I want to spend it on and when I have some I don't want to touch it. However I know that when I do start spending I know I won't be able to stop - a bit like giving a child a gun :(

The new weekly amount is just over half of what i was getting before but is still a nice amount and it is sorted so I'm just really pleased about that. It is not cheap calling the CSA.

It at least means I can buy DD her wardrobe and I can put some away for our holiday, plus I have my passport to pay for as well.

Another good thing is I got my council tax bill (that bit's not good) but it hasn't gone up at all from last year, that is very good. Brilliant in fact. Same for the water bill - it's only about £1 more a month than last year.

At this rate I'm going to win the lottery tonight :D

    :rotfl:Did you play?

So glad the CSA money is on its way, should make things a bit easier. Is DD excited about her bedroom?
