This may sound disgusting but i hardly wash my face at all. Obviously it gets wet in the shower and stuff. But my face is smooth and i don't get any spots, so I'm too scared to start doing anything different!
But maybe in the long run , I'm doing my skin damage? I don't know. There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't0 -

I haven't washed my face with tap water for over 50 years. My mother gave me cleansing milk when I was about 12 (Anne French) and I haven't looked back. I use all different brands now and often use wipes when I am feeling lazy. If I use water my skin dries out. I don't get my face wet in the shower and keep my head out of the water when swimming. In the morning I sometimes use toner then moisturiser. My skin is very soft and smooth and I don't get spots.0 -

Hi, this is what I want to do to save buying a face wash or cleanser for the mornings but do you find its affective? I was wondering if the wipes clean enough at night, though I do use them at night as I can't be bothered to cleanse then and at least its getting the majority of make up off. I'd like to just use water in the morning and that would save me some more money0 -
I tend to use a gentle cleansing water in the morning to remove any sleep stuff and prep my skin for moisturiser and make-up. I used to use the Liz Earle tonic and eyebright but I've now got really lazy and can only be bothered to use one product! I really like the Liz Earle stuff though, it's had a very positive impact on my skin. The eyebright is really useful for using after the C&P in the evenings just in case I've missed any eye make up remover, plus it's great for brightening up my eyes if I look shattered and it's also useful when I'm doing a face mask to use as a compress. It's one of those products that I bought thinking it was totally pointless but I've ended up using it loads!Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0

I used to use cleansing wipes, then I switched to the OCM at night, I found it takes no more time and I get much better results. Then a quick wipe with a hot clean flannel in the morning.
I only use cleansing wipes now when I travel - I found them quite harsh and drying on my skin.No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0
