Free food in London

I spotted this in the London paper yesterday but haven't had the opportunity to try it out:-

Sweet and Spicy, 40 Brick Lane, E1 6RF - will give you free curry, rice and naan bread at 10.30pm every night. This restaurant gives away their let-over food to whoever turns up at the end of the evening, rather than throwing it in the bin. I have been to this restaurant at lunch times - it's actually more of a cafe but the food is excellent, thoroughly recommended for quality of food.

New Covent Garden Market, London SW8 5NX - at about 9am the wholesale stallholders will give you bags of ripe fruit and veg, ideal for eating but too ripe for a dealer to transport and then sell.

Hope someone can make use of this info.
