Does anyone out there know anything about a firm called Countrywide Legal Services, based in Eglantine Avenue, Belfast? They apparently specialise in Wills, Probate, Asset Management etc. They do have a website etc. but I would really appreciate feedback from anyone who has used them or has otherwise had any experience with them, either good or bad. Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Haven't used then but know a bit about them. They are part a uk wide company, they are the ones that did Jade Goodies trust fund for tax benefit. Don't know if they can do probate here as there is a solicitor's monopoly I think but if you want to set up a trust to avoid IHT they can do that. Don't know how they compare to other financial advisers/planners.

Thanks Phoolgrrrl. Wasn't aware of the Jade Goody connection. I was in Eglantine Ave recently, and walked past their address there. Couldn't see their name anywhere on outside walls, windows etc. Had a brief glimpse in the hallway, and there is a wallplate bearing the names of companies but theirs is not there. Thought that a bit strange. Also on a Google search their address comes up as the Scottish Provident Building in Donegall Square. I have been told that they look for all of their fees up front, before they do any work. If that is true, I would be very wary.
Would be good to hear from anyone who has actually used them.
