Just had a IVA rejected and am thinking of trying to negotiate with the relevent companys myself......Once my account has been asigned to a third party such as the above debt recovery company what sort of figure are they looking to recoup........the last resort is to go bankrupt which i am trying my hardest to avoid...but if i do these companys will get nothing so surely it is in there interest to recover something rather than nothing.....

Hi Rude Boy
Welcome to MSE! Please can you explain as to why your IVA was rejected? Have you tried to get in touch with CCCS or Payplan (links at the top of the age). They are charities who can give you FREE advice on your debts problems.
