I used to go the party shops , the one near us used to sell lots of tiny toys to put in bags. what about small ball. sweets, hair toggles for the girls. you have to have a balloon and piece of cake.0

I got some buckets from Asda at 50p each and put a spade in, (I think they were from elc, set of 2 for £1), bubbles, and a few chocolate footballs, the kids were right happy, the parents thought it was a great idea!0

The Works sells some great mini hardback books about letters/colours etc for 49p."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0

homebargains do party favours. for 20 - 50p you can get a pack of items. they do sunglasses, men with parachutes i think, whistles and stuff. i did a halloween party and in the party bags i put toy spiders, sunglasses, scary sweets, chocolate, pumpkin bubbles. the spiders were glittery for girls and normal for boys. ds1 got a party bag the other day and got pencils, small pad, sweets, whistle, stickers, cant think of anything else!!0

Next week is our LOs 4th & 1st birthdays. For the older ones (school friends) the bags have an activity book from the works (around £1 each£, a fancy pencil (bought a few big packs from the pound shop), a lolly and a flump bar. For the younger ones a bought a nursery rhyme sticker and colouring book each from the works and put
some haribos and a flump bar in too. The cousins bags a few more
little bits in but they are older.
I hadn't actually thought about putting in
some cake to take home - I thought they'd eat it here lol!0 -
