I did but wondered if it would be any good to them as it's not PAL~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)0 -
at the risk of sounding morbid, is there a local hospice nearby who could donate it to one of the familys they support - to capture the precious little time they have with their loved one?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Hmmm.....qwhere to start! lol
1. I'm 16 years old, so haven't got much money and would come in useful for Mrdia Studies work and small productions (hoping to do a talent contest at some point as i'm hoping to be a senior prefect before the end of next month!)
2. I'm very, VERY desperate for one!
3. I'm the first person to state my case on here
4. I'm not so good at this, feel sorry for me lol
Anwyway, hope it's good enough!

Sorry Poppy,
But we aren't allowed to exchange personal details via MSE. What you are offering is very kind, but goes against the site rules. Please see Martin's post here for more details.
Have you thought about www.freecycle.org

why dont you sell them on ebay, and give the proceeds to a childrens hospital:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Thanks Pink winged - and sorry for breaking the rules. Think I'll go with freecycle.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)0 -
Hope your in box is empty as you'll receive 100's of requests on Freecycle. I've offered one or two bits and am always shocked at peoples replies - very few people actually say please or thank you.
We have one regular who has never posted one offer but everyweek without fails he post's wanted ad's for Camcorders, xbox, mobiles, and most other electrical items - sorry I often go off on a tangent.
I hope you find a worthy cause for your items. I had about 10 pairs of kids shoes that I wanted to find a good home for and eventually ended up paying to send them to the other end of the country to someone who collects childrens shoes and takes the to South Africa...there I go again going off.......0 -
My idea was donating it to a charity raffle, but after reading the hospice idea I think thats a great idea.
Schools will always get stuff like that if they need it, as they can apply for numerous grants and do fund raising if needed. But I think raising money for a hospice is more difficult since it's a sad time for family's so you can't exactly rope them in to raising some money.
It'll also give the family's the chance to record some moments to watch back later on in the years.0
