Hellsbells82 - Welcome. What a great idea to have your reason for MSEing in your signature - I feel inspired to do the same - I'm sure it will help as reminder for those moments when I lose my way. It caught my eye because my reason is very similar - I've got a primary school age child and I want to carry on working part time until he's settled into secondary school in 2 years. I've been managing it for 18 months largely thanks to the support & ideas I get from this thread.

Thankyou- it's nice to know someone's in the same boat, I keep reminding myself when I'm trekking to the Post Office in the rain to post something that's made me 50p profit that I'm doing this so I can enjoy my children while they're still young, despite the fact I spent a fortune and nearly killed myself getting my professional qualifications last year!

Anyway... So far I've made £5 from a mystery shop and £1 off ebay, so only £6, but I'm doing at least two shops today:D
Hoping to get money smart enough to avoid working full time and paying extortionate money to a stranger for the privilege of enjoying my two beautiful children for 40+hrs a week until my son is 3 and my daughter starts school in 2012 :D

Oh I know what you mean - I keep reminding myself that a profit is a profit, however small when doing ebay listings (and when I sold something for 90p and the buyer paid by payapl and collected it I wasn't impressed - still, I made a little bit, I guess - and she did leave me lovely feedback!! ;))

I worked full time after DD, 25 hours a week after DS1 (at a minimum - I brought work home most days, too and often went in to the office on my 'days off') so am enjoying time at home with DS2 (starts school next month!) and DS3 (only 14 months, so a way to go yet!) If I can make extra money it goes on mtge OPs - hopefully we can repay it off early and that would mean DH doesn't get as stressed....

Just paid in my coppers - £2.88
Due £7.08 from amazon after fees and postage but I'll wait til it hits the bank to add it

Quick question about music magpie, wonder if any one can help? Just how battered can CD cases be before they won't pay you? I've used them for DVDs before but not CDs. I can mix and match cases so the case itself is fine its just the plastic 'teeth' that hold the CD in place that are broken on a few of them. Thanks if you can help

The cases have to be in reasonable condition with the original artwork/sleeve/lyric etc. I think the odd scratch is ok. I sent loads to them and they werent perfect and they didnt query any. I think you will be fine.
