There is a farmers' market the last wednesday of every month, or would it be in the evening? Is it a day thing or a sleep-over? I live about 10 mins slow walk from the rail station:)

    I have done reading too!

    teaching of the Buddhas.
  • Ruby - whereabouts are you then. I don't know many people around here to be fair other than the mums at eldest's school, and then not well enough to go out with etc.

It's a shy thing for me too - never been good in new situations :)

The farmer's market sounds a good idea, but I can't do weekdays in term time unfortunately because of various nursery and school runs - evenings are out for transport/childcare reasons too *have a feeling I won't make this one*

  • Hi, I'm in if it's in Leicester, I'm always lurking but never seem to have anything to add to anyone's posts! Anyway I'd love to meet up and make new friends so please count me in.

    Me neither. ;)

I live in one of the nearby villages, don't want to say which one on here as it's quite small and I don't want the world to know where I am, lol. My parents live in Harborough though and my daughter goes to school there.

  • I can understand that - I wonder sometimes if I ought to change my details to just 'Leicestershire' - but like I say, there's no-one I know well enough in RL to make anything I'd say on here a problem - and family (who are probably the only ones who'd recognise me) know my SOA and such anyway.

There are probably more people on here from other sites who know me than from RL, lol
