penpals in the forces free to send "email" letters to cheer them up

I joined the Yahoo Group, http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Forcespenpals/
and there's a list on here that you can see once you join.. But its quite confusing, I don't think you're writing to a single person but a regiment or something... Anyone else use it and understand what to do? If so, PM me or post on here

Hi all and newcook...It takes ten days for their reply to get to us... I GOT mine yesterday...lol it was a real surpise as had given up on getting a reply.. Anyhow sounded lovely chap so i sat and wrote back and then thought id try the email detail he gave me too ..and before you know it we had exchanged 3 emails too!

So im really chuffed, is soo weird writing to someone again as in pen pal, but brill. thanks a lot
