Accommodation In Irvine - Ayrshire - Or Surrounding Area

Hello Folks

Just wondered if you could perhaps help at all.

I'm from Irvine originally and visit family there occasionally, although I now live in England.

We've been invited to a wedding this December (after Xmas) and as we've got a large dog, I wondered if anyone could recommend accommodation such as a serviced apartment or a self catering flat that we could stay in while we're there?

Not too much of that sort of accommodation about, I don't think, but I did meet a NZ couple this summer, who were renting a garden cottage in Prestwick close to my parents-and they loved it!

There are a couple hotels locally, but not sure they's allow dogs. In Irvine the Hopsitality Inn is now a Menzies Hotel, there's the Gailes Lodge in Irvine which is a modern family run place, and the whitletts roundabout in Ayr is now home to a Travelodge and a holiday inn express. There's also a Premier Inn at the Monktonhead roundabout.
