Settlement figure

Hi

I have a loan and asked for a resettlement figure. I got one through the post which says

Balance of loan £10,216.80
Less interest rebate for settling early £1267
Amount payable £8640

So is the amount I need to repay to settle it £8640? I'm just a bit confused!

yes £8,640 is the settlement figure and the amount you need to pay
