Not sure about the best sites, just dont buy too many clothes. If you have a whopper like my son, he was out of the 0-3 months size within 6 weeks.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Unless you want the clothes for a present, I would go to a car boot sale. My daughters are teenagers now, when they were born boot sales were not as popular, or I wouldn't have bought anything new.
I've seen some practically new baby clothes sold for as little as 10p each item, look at the sellers, it will give you an idea of the quality of goods. Just wash everything when you get home:j0 -
Also try Asda, we buy most of our daughters clothes from there. Very cheap and good quailty.0

Are you near any discount villages where there are main street shops that are situated away from city centres and sell remaindered goods - a lot cheaper than in the high street.
We live between York and Leeds and can get to at least two of these."This site is addictive!"

Can second the suggestion of Asda - their George range is great for kids.
If you have a 'Primark' near you they are great. I go in there regularly and pick up clothes for my nieces and nephews and in there sale section, I ralrey pay more then £1 per item.

Other places I can recommend are Matalan ( http://www.matalan.co.uk/ ) and the car boots and charity shops, children grow so quickly at that age the cothes are barely used before they grow out of them!0 -
I agree entirely with regard to Car Boot Sales. There is so much newborn baby stuff there and much of it is in the origianl pack and never worn. Doting parents/grandparents buy lots for 'first borns' and forget how quickly they growI'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!

I would recommend charity shops - I have managed to get loads of clothes from there for my forthcoming child.
I would advise you not to bother to buy 'newborn' sizes though. They grow out of newborn stuff to quickly to justify spending the money, plus people tend to buy you newborn stuff when the baby is first born. 0 to 3 months is perfectly ok for a newborn and dont buy too much of that either as they grow so quick!2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
You can usually pick up a few bargins in Ethel Austin.Laughter is the sun

You should try https://www.trendytadpoles.co.uk - they sell clothes from Newborn to 8 years.
They are mostly high street brands and some designer labels, (all brand new), but all are around 50% of the RRP & they don't charge delivery!
They've got a sale on at the moment too!0
