No holiday booked as yet..:o far too expensive due to kids school holidays.. I have a fair few things to do during that week, so I might postpone that sunny holiday till later on in the year.. I might book a couple of nights away in a spa hotel just to relax..
I do hope too that the next two weeks will go smoothly..

    Cheers

    Hi LP! :j

    I am still alive, thanks..

As previously thought, the last few weeks have taken their toll, and it's proving to be quite a challenge to tie up the loose ends at my current job..
I still have 2 days to go, and I am trying to finish up the training of the person who will take over some of my responsibilities.. I am really trying hard to give her the best chance to succeed, but my manager is making that rather difficult.. Any request or approval are met with a grunt or a few swear words.. I know, I know but thats really like that at the moment.. Then you get demands for pieces of work that would take weeks or even months to be done in 24/48 hours.. Some managers can see issues coming up once I am gone and I find it difficult to manage their expectations..

Anyway, 2 days to go in the office.. then 10 days holidays a brand new job to look forward to..:D

I have just added a payment received from £co to my fund.. I have redeemed again on Superpoints, and am quite close to payout on VO too.. I should have more funds to add once the CC is paid off on the 6th/7th of the month, and I will be able to add some of my redundancy money in the fund around the middle of the month..

I seem to have accumulated some good vouchers lately: £100 amazon, £30 M&S & £10 BHS.. A trip to the trafford centre at some point will help cheer me up..

How was football LP? How many did you score? Hope you did not stop at the chippy on the way home!!

    Cheers

  • Good to hear from you again Froggy.

It sounds like they are being a real bunch of pr**ks. Oh well it will soon be over, just smile and become the yes man these final days.

Football was a washout, it was chucking it down. I must admit it was one of my worst performances for a long time. I didn't go to the chippy after either!

    £100 amazon voucher? nice!
