Disadvantages about IVA?

Hello everyone, just wondering we are seriously thinking about joing an IVA agreement and have spoke to a few people, can anyone tellme the diadvantages about doing it, i know we will have bad credit rating but it cant be any worse than it is now. Any advice, greatly appreciated.
