Thanks all,
Think I'll try out the ultrasun since it's a once a day application."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Having just returned from living a year in Spain, I'd say find something thats light, not too greasy! My normally dry skin couldn't handle the moisturiser and sunblock I usually applied - it was just too heavy and when its sooooo hot your skin just wants to breathe! I ended up using a local spanish supermarket sunblock that came in a gel form, used no foundation, very little make up and whacked it on often. Its different with everyone of course but I suddenly had fantastic complexion after a month or so there and no longer needed anywhere near the amount of makeup I do now that I'm back in Ireland, so was no fuss.No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0

Hadn't thought about that - I'd hate to be taking my make up off every couple of hours!
I'll check out the Bare Minerals sunscreen - thank you!
NB: Bare Minerals has Bismuth Oxychloride in it, which can be very irritant to some users.0 -

I like the Alpha H SPF 50 Daily Essential Moisturiser under Bare Escentuals as my every day facial sunscreen in the summer.
I got stuck in an open topped car in a traffic jam for about 6 hours in blazing hot sun and didn't burn wearing this combination so I set a lot of store by it. My forearms and a little bit of my shoulder where my top moved did burn. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0
