Tesco's are selling a range of energy saving light bulbs ranging from 8p to 20p!
Had 4 shelves full in my local Tesco's
Recent news reports suggests that funding will be diverted from low price energy saving light bulbs to different energy saving inititaves, so they may not be at these prices for much longer....

Hi
Yes they had candle shaped ones, traditional type energy shaped bulbs as well as the 'sprial' ones. They had lightbulbs which bayonet fittings as well as screw fittings.

Thanks for the tip with mt Energyrethinking community. As a side note I found it useful to create a family 'pledge' to only turn the lights on in the evening when you absolutely have to - make the most of the sun while it's here and save some cash!0

I bought a number of these a few weeks ago ( at a much dearer price!)
The candle ones are to bulky to fit with the shades most of my fitting they are much wider. They dont operate off a dimmer switch either.0
