Apparantly they work with something called LeapPad Plus Writing

Has anyone seen one cheaper please

I just checked the items that I had left in my shopping basket while the sale was on and I was dithering about whether to order them or not. Some items had gone up in price now that the sale has ended, but some are back down again:
The Carol Vordeman Sodoku board game is back down to 99p
The Annoying Thing singing plush frog is also still £1.99
Barbie H0915 - Fashion Fever Going Out still £2.99 (at least £10 elsewhere)
I also found this lovely book for my niece at 50% off. I was planning to get this for her for Christmas - it is full price in the high street stores.

Fairies: Petal People You Make Yourself (Klutz S.) (Spiral-bound)
by Rachel Haab £4.99 instead of £9.990 -

Please be aware when ordering bargain basement gifts from Amazon, that a lot of them are not coming from the Amazon warehouse. Therefore each item you order will be posted separately. I almost placed an order for eleven "bargains" costing £6.88 - thank goodness I looked at the postage it was £27.75.
Not a bargain any more!!!0 -

All the items that I posted just a few posts above this were in stock from Amazon.co.uk - i.e. qualified for free delivery when spending £15.0 -
I too got free delivery but it is a point. Amazon sellers have tripped up a few people I know in the past when people have placed orders over 15 pounds and thought that it meant they were getting free delivery.
Obviously that is not the case.
PS, congrats on post of the month to OP
you saved us all a few bob this year, you deserve it.0 -
I'm also staggered at the postage system used. All my items were direct from Amazon so postage was free, but each day they seem to send one or more boxes with an individual game in it.
I had four of the large boxes delivered yesterday, each with just one item, two different boxes contained a da-man tournament game in each.
I presume they have an annual fee with the courier because they would be losing money on postage.0 -
If anyone is still waiting for the Bubbles console with Teletubbies software to be sent to them, it could be worth calling Amazon. I phoned yesterday to see if there was a problem as the estimated dispatch date kept getting later and later. I explained I would cancel my order and order elsewhere if they were never likely to arrive. She said that it was strange they hadn't been sent out as they had them in stock and amazingly they are on their way to me now!
Thank goodness as I have 3 lots of thomas software to go with the three I ordered - Christmas all sorted!

Woohoo, got my (well, DS's) Sportacus set today (and the dispatched email arrived an hour after the courier had left, lol ). Was going to keep it until Christmas but couldn't resist giving it to DS now - what a mug...
(The Thomas bath set arrived yesterday and is going to stay in the cupboard until Christmas!)
Anyway, thanks OP and well done for getting Post of the Month - you do deserve it :beer:0
