Thanks in advance!

Realoatsy - It would be for an entire set.

Dad has a set but they are old and he would like to spend more time playing golf now, so would like to get him a good quality set.

check out the following below for 2 complete package sets I would go for, honestly the best bet would be to buy them over the net for the keenest price. No need to spend more than £150 - £200 quid until he's sure hes gonna get back into it seriously. I've seen guys splash out £1000 + only to have them gathering dust and rust

MD golf are up and coming and make very good quality kit

Wilson are well established and respected and used by Padraig Harrington.

Either will do the job for your dad, incidentally the company that sells the MD set are based in Derry.

    hope this helps

for MD clubs try www golfstoreeurope com search for package sets and MD Sure Fire

for Wilson Clubs try www direct-golf co uk search for package sets and look for wilson 1200

I believe you can buy MD Golf Club sets and clothing in a golf shop at Junction One, Antrim.
I think they are sponsored by Seve Ballesteros.

MD are indeed sponsored by Seve - if I were going for a decent bit of beginner kit I would seriously consider them
  • I saw an offer in Tesco & Sainsburys where you can buy a full set of clubs and a bag for £99. I think it was Spalding or some name like that, it was definitely a recognisable name. Probably not the best clubs ever, but would definitely be a decent start up set. No idea if still available though, sorry!
