Anyone had any further information with this? I noticed in the confirmation email that it said a "Payment Taken" email would follow shortly. Not had this but noticed the money has gone from the account. I'm waiting for the phonecall that tells me it's a mistake

I have just logged into to my account at ASDA to check on progress and it says under order status 'cancelled'. Thanks OP it was worth a try but i guess it was too good to be true!

The dreaded email arrived 35 mins ago.

Me too...how can they have been temporarily out of stock?..they're in stock now..I knew this was a long shot but why can't they just say they made a mistake..why do they have to lie to us?

Never received an email cancelling, so just checked my online account and its still showing as placed but.............20 seconds after checking asda phoned to say they cancelled the orders at 10am due to a pricing error and my money would be refunded

Dont check it! Im kicking myself, I think me going on my account flagged it up that they missed mine

Mines is still saying placed xx

Edit - Still saying placed! Maybe they will still deliver

Well I got the phonecall to tell me the order had been cancelled and my payment refunded. At least they had the decency to give the real reason why (misprice). Although two hours later I received a phone call from the courier telling me they'd be delivering tomorrow. I told them the situation and they put the lovely lady on the phone told me she wouldn't cancel the delivery until she heard from Asda and to give them a ring. I didn't want to accept delivery and then be charged the full price afterwards so called Asda and they cancelled the delivery while I was on hold. The meanies!!!

Reckon you should have held on, pretty sure that once it has been delivered, even at a misprice, they cannot ask for a return or bill you the full amount.
