I have just had a bill from Vodaphone for 34 pounds. I do not use all my 500 mins and texts - so that's point one.
BUT I used to have a deal where I paid about £18 a month but that has gone. Don't Vodaphone legally have to inform me if a deal changes? Shouldn't they have sent me a letter if they were removing the deal.
I just want to check facts before I got for them .
If they won't reinstate my deal - any thoughts on who has the cheapest deal on offer at the mo. I just have a bog standard phone - don't need internet for example.
Thanks

Hi Bloomer, I'm with O2 and I pay £20pm for 600 mins and 500 texts on the "Simplicity" tariff. As I don't use all my allowance I keep meaning to drop down a tariff, but my old friend apathy sets in:o You can get a £15 and £10 tariff for less mins and texts. My oh is on Tesco Mobile payg and I put a tenner on every now and again, and they have a deal whereby its doubles (don't really understand how it works, but it seems a good deal!!:)) Mind, neither of us use it much, and we don't bother with the "fancy" stuff;) Might be worth checking out.0

Check out T-mobile.
I pay £10 per month (rolling 30 day contract) for 100 texts, 100 mobile minutes, unlimited landline minutes (most of my calls are to my parents on their landline) and I pay an additional £5 for unlimited internet.
I think their next deal up is £15 per month for 300 mins & 300 texts and one free booster (Like the unlimited landline or internet)0 -
Hi Bloomers,
I use 02, have done for years. I pay £15 a month and get unlimited calls and texts to other 02 numbers. Admittedly, other calls are billed but as most of my friends/relatives are on 02 this works out better for me and i have loads of credit on my phone as it never gets used. DS is on a package where he pays £10 a month but gets i think its 300 minutes and unlimited texts (kids tend to text their socks off) to any number, but that £10 is taken from his phone, he doesnt keep it in the same way i do, but as his school pals are on different networks, its better for him.
I personally think 02 is pretty good, i guess others have their own preferences, its all about what you want to do/who you need to text/call with your phone.

ETA.. I would have thought that Vodafone would indeed have to inform you of any changes made to your tarriff. I would get in touch and ask them to explain whats going on, certainly dont take it lying down.If you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them~Dalai LamaHow people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours~Wayne DyerLet none find fault in others. Was your deal obtained via retentions.
Vodafone are sods when you are at the end of a contract, they state 1/2 price line rental, but fail to state it only lasts for 14 out of 18 month contract.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
I think if they told you in the original contract (which I'm sure they did) then they don't need to tell you when it's coming to and end, it's up to you to know when your deals are ending isn't it?Trev. Having an out-of-money experience!
