  • I had to show my bank card when I collected mine. For years one of my stepsons has very generously bought very interesting presents for our younger three - ant farms, worm farms, play doh hairdressing, mc flurry makers, gun and targets, paints, art sets etc. This week he married and is now a stepdad so I thought I would treat his stepdaughter to these lovely pots of playdoh for Christmas along with a very cute Karaoke set with Microphone I picked up in Boots last week!
  • I saw these in sainsburys today, there dinky little pots hehe :rotfl:

Teehee ... Revenge is sweet! I was the first out of my sisters and cousins etc to have kids and they also gave my children "very interesting presents". I have great fun reciprocating their generosity, finding the messiest and noisiest gifts I possibly can. :D:D :rotfl:
  • Picked mine up the other day no problems, just showed the invoice i had printed off the internet and didn't need any other proof.
    now mum of 4!!!
  • I didn't have the email or any id on me when I picked mine up .

Fortunately the young lad gave me the benefit of the doubt... or maybe it was the look my daughter was giving him, along with her very loud whisper of "Where's my play-doh mummy?" that did the trick! :rotfl:

When I went to collect mine though I was asked for my d/l or passport. I had the order numbe, c/c I'd paid with showing my name. Told SA that I wasn't aware I needed to bring in passport or d/l. Anyone else had this problem before?

Had an email from Woolworths, after my complaint, stating that my order number and bank card showing my name would have been sufficient identification to collect the order. They have now rectified the matter by telling all stores that d/l or passport need required providing order number and bank card with name on is produced. :p So they say!

I have never had my email confirmation or even order number when picking up from woolworths. I just give them my name, they go and get my order and then ask to see the card I paid with. They just check the name is the same and off I go.

I havent received my playdoh yet tho (ordered it to store but no email saying its here yet) - ordered it the day this thread was posted. Maybe I need to chase them.

Edit - just logged on to my account online and its says my playdoh is in store awaiting collection. They could have told me!

If anyone sees this come back online again in Woolies I would be grateful to know. Thanks. I had two friends come round yesterday who have daughters who are primary school teachers. Both looked and said they would love some for their classrooms! So I'm keeping an eye open for them now ;) .
