Looking for cheaper alternatives to Chanel toner and make up base

I've been using a sample of Chanel Precision alcohol free soothing toner (which leaves my skin feeling really fresh) and also their Base Limiere illuminating makeup base (primer).

Although I like both, I was looking for something cheaper (but not cheap and nasty!) to use instead.

It would be nice to find a primer to make the foundation look more even and help disguise some blemishes.

What would you recommend please?

Well I used to use Chanel products all the time when I had more money and they were gorgeous. I am now using more and more of the Boots no7 products.. They are lovely on my skin and do an excellent range of items. I particularly like the Blemish serum which I use daily under my moisturiser and it has definately worked as I have much fewer breakouts now! I also love the purifying mask which heats up on contact with damp skin. I was in the shop the other day and they had a three for two offer on so it is definately mse! You could probably buy the whole range of products you need for the cost of two items from Chanel!

Not sure if they have the same products but if it helps Bourjois products are made in the same factory that makes Chanel:)

  • Hiya Girls,
I used to use Chanel and also loved it. Since opening my own permanent makeup business I also wanted to find a cheaper but still worthy product. I wanted to find my clients a makeup that had excellent quality and quantity so I started looking into mineral makeups. After a long time of researching up and coming products i came across a makeup i could finally believe in. Fresh Minerals is the best makeup i have come across, as it holds so many benefits for an affordable price. When looking into highstreet products it was unbelievable what actually goes into our makeup.... no wander so many women suffer with their skin. Fresh minerals is 100% pure, so pure infact, that you can sleep in it. It should be called a skin care range. One of the main differences is the lack of fillers. Traditional makeup can contain 70-90% of fillers such as talcum powder, cornstarch and nylon among others.
Fresh Mineral benefits go on and on, so feel free to have a look at my website as it has alot more details regarding the makeup.

The ELF (eyeslipsface) primer is great, if you follow them on Facebook they often have offers too.

Am also trying to curb Chanel addiction, so I feel your pain.
