Any cheap/free things to do/places to visit near Frenchay Hospital, Bristol
Options
Hi all,
As the title says, I am looking for anything free or cheap to do near Frenchay Hospital - will have 4 kids in tow ranging in ages from nearly 4 to 11.
My knowledge of the area is very sketchy - I know how to get there, but not what there is to do locally.;)
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
Thanks all

Snuff Mills and Eastville Park- both free :-)
Get a family day rider on the bus, you have the suspension bridge in Clifton, go to the harbourside where the Harbour Festival is on this weekend, boats will be coming in all week
Not too sure of things going on around Frenchay but that might give you something to start withI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Thanks queen of cheap - I'll investigate Snuff Mills & Eastville Park. Don't want to go into the centre as the only reason that I'll be around Frenchay is that I'll be hanging around for my dad who has an appointment there. We are local - the bridge is my side of town; Frenchay area I do not know that well.0

There is a museum, no idea if it would be interesting.
If it's fine, a frisbee, bat and ball on Frenchay Common may be all you need!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Vassals Park (Oldbury Court) is a bit nicer than Eastville - the playground's just been re-done. A bit closer to Frenchay, too.0
