Have you tried bbc.co.uk/food ? they have an excellent recipie finder, just type in the ingredients and let it do the rest
or https://www.uktvfood.co.uk ?
i use the bbc site at least every other day, its amazing how many things you can do with a chicken0 -
do you want something tomatoey or creamy ?
have you tried looking using the search ?0 -
Tomatoey would be best as i would prefer lowish fat if poss.

I would....
brown the chicken all over
sweat some chopped onions and carrots
Mix in a tablespoon of plain flour and cook for 1 min
stir in a pint of stock, a glass of white wine, a generous pinch of allspice and a splodge of cream
add some sliced mushrooms and cook for ages on a low heat.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
How about Chicken Marengo? You just put the chicken in the pan with a tin of chopped tomatoes, a bit of tomato puree, a little white wine (or a splash of vinegar and a bit of sugar if you've no wine), a tsp of mixed herbs, a large chopped onion, chopped mushrooms (optional), a clove of crushed garlic, chopped celery and chopped green pepper if you have one. It tastes lovely!Jane

Put the chicken into a suitable oven dish, add small potatoes, onion wedges and garlic cloves (whole). If you have a lemon, cut into wedges and poke these around the chicken legs. Sprinkle with some herbs and bung in oven, till cooked. You can add allsorts of other veg, peppers, carrots etc, to the tin to roast alongside it.
This makes a one pot roast and is very scrummy, especially when you mash the roasted garlic cloves up with the chicken. mmmmmm0 -
One of my favourites:
Chicken pieces ...skin removed because I don't like chicken skin done in the slow cooker, but that's down to personal choice.
A tin of chopped tomatoes.
Onion...can be fried or put in raw.
Mushrooms..if you have them, but not essential if you don't.
Any veg bits and pieces you have...I like finely chopped carrots or mixed frozen veg.
One cup of chicken stock...a stock cube disolved in hot water is just as good.
Bayleaf...again if you don't have it, it doesn't matter.
Mixed herbs...or herbs of choice.
Garlic...a crushed clove or granules.
Glass of white wine.
Put it all into the slow cooker and leave it alone for eight hours.
