Hey girls!
Here's a tip for you, force OH to watch 'Don't tell the bride' and it'll make him gain a renewed interest in wedding planning. Well...worked for me
Anyway, this is doing my tree in. I'm really struggling to find something to wear in my hair. The obvious is a bow, but I have tried this and look like an idiot. I also look daft in alice bands, so side tiaras are out too! I'm after some sort of glitzy hair clip. It's driving me bonkers trying to find something. Can you help? This is my dress: http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab5/gleefulweddingdress/Pasha.jpg
Thanks girls :j

It's an alice band and the colours don't match. They are actually loops of beads. I made it myself lol. But yeah, so they are out. Close up it just doesn't go, the style and the colour.0

Thanks for your help so far girlies. Spotted this http://www.glitzysecrets.com/twenties-beauty-hair-slide.html but unsure just yet. Any other suggestions?0

You could have fresh flowers in your hair - I had some attached to some haircombs and my hairdresser put them in for me and lacquered my hair solid so that they wouldnt fall out.0

Sorry Gleeful - in that photo, I thought they looked lovely...!!
In that case, what about....

I've done it!
This is the vintage necklace I bought ages ago:
And I just bought this on etsy to match. It's a brooch but I can get it changed to a hairslide. I like the way it has bits that are almost 'hanging down'
The marquise cut diamante (kind of teardrop shaped) matches the detail on the lace of my dress, although you can hardly see it, there are diamantes surrounded by marquise diamante in the middle of each sequinned flower:
Hope you all agree I did well?0 -
Looks lovely - well done!
Your dress is so much more detailed than it looked in the first photo...
Can I ask how much the clip was on etsy? Just to be nosey!?Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0
