Remove iodine stains from white gold wedding ring?
BettiePage
My white gold wedding ring now has dark grey marks on it from using an iodine based scrub at work as we'd run out of the Hibiscrub that I normally use. Any ideas what will remove them?
Thanks in advance

you might be better off getting it rhodium plated - I just had my engagement ring done for £20 and I swear its shinyer than when it was new look for a local independant jeweller as they will likely do it on site and charge lessHad a thrifty wedding 17-06-10

Don't have any lemon juice at the mo. Have tried white vinegar but that doesn't seem to have done much tbh.Illegitimi non carborundum.0

I'm not sure what will get it off but I will say DON'T SCRUB IT HARD!!
I tried to get something (don't remember what now) off mine and removed the rhodium plating, making it look so much worse - dull and dark coloured. Only thing to save it then was re-plating
.
It's only a game
