I just cut the bottom of the above Mascara when it was what i thought empty. In the base and up the sides was at least a teaspoon full of mascara ! I have done it before on other mascaras but never had this much left inside. I used a thick carving Knife that i never use in the kitchen to cut it open The teaspoon full filled up 4 old mascaras i had in my drawer.Bad design if most of the mascara stays round the sides and down the base.

I normally add in a little moisturiser (coat a little over the brush). Leave it for a day on its side and you can find it gets a new lease of life. Works better with the proper brush types then the silicon types though.0
