historic mortgage rates

Please can anybody point me in the right direction for finding out what mortgage rates were in force from 1970 onwards. Even approx. figures or yearly averages would be useful. (I am trying to calculate how much I have paid in interest over the years !!!):eek:

Add on 2% and you're probably pretty close to the mortgage rate!
