Unenforceable loans

I am currently looking to use the template letters on this site to ask for terms of agreement from my creditors. A quick question - Why does it say sign digitally in the template?

I would also be keen to hear from anyone who has been through this process previously.

It has been known for DEBT COLLECTION COMPANYS to forge your signature on documents . when they do not have your signature they can not do this ,also peoples signature changes over time ,so they want an updated version. print your signature on any letter you send them.
