pre wedding beauty routine

Hi everyone

Hope everyones planning is going well. Well just been on the you and yours website and today I have 130 days left til i get married. To be honest still got loads to do but its still all under control (hopefully).

Now im thinking maybe i need start looking after myself a bit better over the next few months so i dont look quite a rough as usual lol. Dont want to look differnet just a bit better version if you know what i mean.

Im already doing

Slimming world- lost 2st 5 1/s lb so far, though this is not really for the wedding just something i needed to do and this will definatley be ongoing.
Cleansing and moistruising regularly with an eye cream. face scrub and mask once a week

next on my list

Hair- i do get it trimmed every 8 weeks and it grows quite fast, does anybody have any reccomendation for a good conditioning treatment, mines coloured and quite thick.

Nails- hate false nails but mine bend and flake, need to try and get this sorted

Spots-Dont normally have many but just lately there getting worse, my firend works in a spa so might as her if she can start giving me facials over the next few monts to try to sort this out a bit.

Tan- Scared to deat of sunbeds but i am really really pale so dont know weather to go on a few times in the run up or whether to chance a fake tan, does anybody here have fake tans and can reccomend?

Im also thinking of starting to take skin, hair and nails supplementsfor the next few months, ive read previoulsy that you need to give them three months to work, has anybody tried to them ????

Drink plenty of water and eat your greens - they will help with your nails and your skin. I admit that my nails break easily so I started using Lancome Caresse Mains moisturising and repairing handcream which strengthens nails and since I have used it my nails have been fab.

You could opt for a spray tan and opt for a pale version so you don't look as though you have been tangoed but the tan can rub off onto your clothes. I would avoid sunbeds as they dry your skin. How about going out in the sun whilst using something like factor 30 if you have very fair skin (you can still go brown using factor 30).

Re your hair - what does your hairdresser say? Mine has prescribed Keratase for me and I have just switched to one that gives me some volume (I have fine hair), I had my hair done on Thursday and my hairdresser used a mixture of Schwartzkopf and Clynol to colour my hair, and then prescribed this volumising Keratase shampoo and some Clynol spray to give my hair some lift.
